It is important to enjoy where you are in the present. Take in everything around you. Breathe through the experiences. Saturate in your present joy. Soak up the memories. Appreciate all the blessings God has brought along your path. Take time to notice the little things–flowers, the night sky, stars, bath water running through your fingers, meaningful conversations, hugs. Another breath. Not everyone gets that opportunity again.

With that said, as you appreciate where you are now remember that this isn’t the end of the road. Your destiny is awaiting you. This is only a season. There is a time for everything under the sun. (Ecclesiastes 3). So whether you are in a valley, on a plateau, or on the mountain tops, know that you aren’t going to be there forever. Be ever so thankful for this. God has so much more in store for you when you allow Him to position and prepare you.

I hear God saying, “It is time to let go of what was. It is time to appreciate what is. And it is time to prepare for what will be.” You don’t have to know where He is taking you, but you have to be ready. You may not feel “ready,” but when He says GO, when He says you’re ready, He will make you ready. You don’t have to do it in your strength because He gives that authority and power to us.

When you look to where you are going, you are positioned in authority by preparing your mind, body, spirit and soul for action. Always stand in the stance ready for motion. Don’t be afraid to be uncomfortable. In the discomfort, comes the comfort of growth. Preparation brings practice and performance.
LET’S GO!
